CLEAN TECHNOLOGY


At the Bacton terminal, the gas turbines which drive the compressors use specially designed Dry Low Emissions (DLE) technology. This enables the compressors to be run at variable load without significantly increasing emissions to the environment.

New electrically driven compressors have been installed at the Zeebrugge terminal. The use of emission-free, low noise electric drives is innovative in the field of gas transportation.
